The cards don't lie — even about Hollywood.
I pulled cards on the Oscars. The cards were not impressed.
At the centre of it all - the World. Everything curated. Everything deliberate. A performance of completion and success so polished you almost believe it.
And then the Magician shows up. And suddenly everything makes sense.
The Magician doesn't create. He directs your eyes to exactly where he wants them. And away from everything he doesn't.
The celebration, the beauty, the inspiration, the perfect images - the 3 of Cups, the Star, the 10 of Cups. All there. All visible. All exactly as designed.
But the cards don't only show you what's on the stage. They show you what's underneath it. And underneath it - the 2 of Swords. Eyes closed. A deliberate choice not to see. Not to know. Not to ask.
And at the very foundation of this entire spread — sitting quietly where most people will never look - the 9 of Swords. What keeps them awake at night. The things that cannot be said in a room full of cameras.
The 10 of Swords is also in this spread. It always shows up where someone is paying a price behind the curtain. It never misses.
I'm not here to tell you what to think. Your antenna knows what it knows. And if something felt off watching it - that feeling didn't come from nowhere.
The cards just confirmed it.
For the ones whose eyes are open.
