Get ready for some wild and volatile energy during August. Mars finally out of Libra and this month he’s playing with the big boys. He starts with a square to Jupiter. Have you noticed an increase in the number of thefts and the amount of violence, mainly all due to greed and lust for money. There’s a tendency to behave in an eccentric way and the possibility of accidents and injuries is rife.

Hopefully this starts to calm down over the next two weeks especially with the trine between Mars and Neptune bringing out the spiritual warrior in you.  We need compassion in the world and this aspect should supply some. Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings.

Mercury trines Uranus and this is fast paced and hectic. Add the Sun to the mix and you’re sure to feel like a change of scenery.

By the time of the New Moon you’re ready to pack your bags and get away from it all. Venus joins the party in Leo sprinkling glamour across the sky. Here she will attract Diva like behaviour and there’s potential for more drama, although Venus does warm the atmosphere somewhat.
Mercury shifts to Virgo where he feels totally at home. The energy shifts once more to being more critical. Watch that you don’t come across as Ms. Know it all.  Use this energy to focus, just don’t get lost in the details.

Venus dances with Jupiter to lighten the mood and help you feel totally optimistic. Careful not to overdo things especially where food is concerned because when Sun enters Virgo, you’ll want to start taking care of your body and health.
The energy is wired around the New Moon but you’ll be able to put your thoughts in order. Take a break from the crazy world out there and spend some time on you. At the end of the month when Sun meets with Neptune our physical energy levels might be low and you could feel quite disillusioned about certain issues. Misunderstandings may arise. Don’t let your thoughts mislead you and don’t misguide others.

It is a good idea to lay low during August and refraine from big spending. The month can be unpredictable and unsettling.
