May is quite exciting as we made it through April… with the Cardinal Grand Cross and two harsh eclipses. I don’t know about you, but my head is still spinning. We may still feel the energy, and there’s still some cleaning up to do, but thankfully it won’t be as intense as it has been this past month.

Venus will be in the limelight during May as she shifts out of romantic dreamer Pisces, and into fiery go-getting Aries to become the warrior princess. Venus becomes a strong woman who is not afraid to ask for and to get what she wants.

Venus is associated with Love and relationships and she’s going to be very active as she touches on the same hot sports that were touched during April by some of the planets. For some of us, this might present some challenges and at times might feel unsettling, but Venus in Aries has a lot of courage and brings great creative potential. She can take on anything in an assertive and demanding way.  We are being asked to focus and to take action as there are significant opportunities for new beginnings during the month ahead.

Today Mercury is opposing Saturn.  There is a tendency to anticipate the worst with this aspect. Saturn, the great teacher makes us revisit areas with flaws to correct them and put them into focus bringing clarity and ideas on how to put those ideas into practice. Our minds may be somewhat scattered as the Moon is in Gemini. Direct your attention to what needs to be done instead of trying to do everything. Thinking may be limited today but stay tuned as there are lots of opportunities coming this month to do some serious brainstorming.
