Gemini (May 22 to June 21)

Gemini is the third Sign of the Zodiac. They are the thinkers and love to talk. If you are looking for someone to put forth some logical and well thought- out ideas, Gemini is the answer. They can often be distinguished by their open mouth -- they rarely stop talking. If they are not talking, then they are thinking, and usually fidgeting.

The driving force behind a Gemini's conversation is their mind. They are intellectually inclined, forever probing people and places in search of information. The more information Gemini’s collect, the better. They are curious and clever and get bored very quickly and start fidgeting. They may appear scatterbrained and unfocused, but they keep all their information stored safely. Gemini represents the twins, so they can easily see both sides of a situation…the problem is, sometimes you may just find yourself wondering which twin will show up! They can be superficial, flighty and two-faced and can change their minds easily, appearing fickle and restless. They can handle many situations at once and usually have many interests. But can they follow through??

Ruled by the Planet Mercury, the messenger God. They are quick-thinking, quick-witted and fast on their feet.

The Element associated with Gemini is Air. Air Signs are the thinking person's Sign, and the Twins don't disappoint.

Gemini rules the nervous system, which is why Twins should practice yoga or deep breathing techniques. Layering themselves in soft yellows and blues will also calm their mood.

Taurus (April 21 to May 21)

Taurus, the second Sign of the Zodiac, is all about what they have. Taurus adores comfort and likes being surrounded by pleasing, soothing things. That would include a good meal and a fine wine. They can be bull-headed and stubborn and can grind things to a halt. They can also be extreeeemly lazy and habit bound.

Taurus are very practical and reliable. They are happy to plod along, as they reach their goal. They are also extremely patient and dependable. Bulls want to get the job done, and they will. Taurus far prefers to take each day slowly and steadily and work toward their ultimate goal.

Taurus is ruled by the Planet Venus, the Goddess of Love, Beauty and Pleasure. To others they may appear very materialistic, and they are…but they have to have beauty in their lives. Very important to them is a happy home and a stable relationship. They are true romantics and loyal to the core. They can be very possessive.

The Element associated with Taurus is Earth. No pie-in-the-sky for them. They like to keep their feet on the ground.

Taurus rules the neck and throat. It would be wise to keep a silky scarf at hand, ideally in a warm (and soothing) earth tone.

Virgo (August 23 to September 23)

Virgo is the sixth Sign of the Zodiac, analyzing everything to a T. They are very picky and critical. If you need someone to pay attention to every bit of detail, get a Virgo. They are an asset in any workplace as they can be counted on to get things right the first time, every time -- and no detail will be overlooked. They are methodical and efficient. They enjoy indulging their practical and logical side looking over their projects to the nth degree.

They are pedantic with details and are truly interested in understanding things. They are picky about what and who they bring into their lives.

Virgo is ruled by the Planet Mercury, the winged messenger and can’t sit still for long. Their brains are in overdrive most of the time, which is why they get so much done. They can be very skeptical and critical and are the greatest worry pots. Their over thinking can lead to an overkill. They are reliable and practical. They are extremely health conscious and most will work out to keep healthy. When it comes to love, they loosen up a bit and are very devoted, they can also be jealous.

The Element associated with Virgo is Earth, and in keeping with that, most Virgos are grounded, salt-of-the-earth types.

Virgo rules the intestines, they need to be wary of bowel upsets. Soothing relief often comes in the way of earth tones. They should surround themselves with shades of tan and a warm yellow.

Aries (March 21 to April 20)

Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, and they pretty much see themselves this way too. They want to be number one in everything! If you want a job done, give it to an Aries. They love to initiate projects. Their leadership is most impressive even when all the odds seem against them. They are fearless and often win at the task at hand. They are very impulsive and sometimes forceful too. At times, you might even wish they could calm down. They can be extremely blunt and to the point in their quest to accomplish their goals.

They have courage and determination, are extremely dynamic and very competitive. They are ruled by Mars, the God of war. They are bold, aggressive and courageous. They are full of energy and vitality and can stay at something when the rest have already given up. They have the winning edge. They may appear arrogant and domineering, but then it takes a lot of focus to be a leader, ask any Aries.

The element associated with Aries is Fire. This could explain their burning desire and energy. They are unafraid of entering new territory. They love a challenge!

Aries rules the head, face and brain, those born under this Sign need to be on the lookout for headaches and it’s a good idea to occasionally take a deep breath. The Ram's colour is bright red, a sure sign of the fire that breathes within.
